My antagonist is feeling shy

Running into a lot of trouble with story 3.  I seem to have flagging interest in the characters, and don't want to spend time getting to know them or what they want or why they want it. I think because I placed so many requirements on my muse for what needs to happen- oh and it has to be amazing right out of the gate. Geez.

To Do today- need to get out of my head. I need to brainstorm my antagonist- maybe have a conversation with her, try and open up communication again.
  1. Who is my antagonist? Where does she come from?
  2. What does antagonist want / need?
Update 12:17- Yay- the antagonist is talking. Still don't know what the heck she wants but I love the stuff I'm getting. [actually I know what she wants, just not why yet] On the bad side, I wonder if my Beta reader will like this stuff. When I read it though, it just sucks me right in. Mustn't worry about it now, must figure out the next scene.

Update 1:38: Now I've gotten to the why section of the piece and I am therefore stuck. Also I need something more, right now it's a bit straightforward and running a little short.  It'd be so great to have the rough draft done today.  (To be honest, I'm a bit behind and have 2 others to write by next weekend)
